Easter Morning. It looks like the Easter Bunny made it all the way to California.
The loot.
Still waking up...
Checking out his fun stuff. These PJ's are his favorite. He wants to wear them for clothes too. Dad and I had to show him the classic robot moves of course so now he moves his arms and says, "I am a robot". It is really cute!
Immediately wanting to try everything on.
My blue eyed boy!
And on to the shorts...
I couldn't resist. So cute!
Enjoying lots of yummy Easter treats! We were grateful to watch conference and be reminded of what Easter is all about. I remember cuddling with my boys and thinking how blessed I truly am and I owe it all to my Savior. I am so grateful for my Savior and his gospel. What a wonderful weekend.

Oh yes. After conference James and I were relaxing on the couch while Tray was snoozing when all of a sudden we heard a strange noise and the windows started shaking. James looked at me and said that he thought we were having a earthquake. I of course didn't believe him until the shaking increased. Then I was scared. It kept growing more and more intense until we were both on our feet and scared to death. I was in a controlled panic mode and kept asking, "Should I get Tray? What do we do?" It was like we were rocking back and forth in a boat. I got Tray who was already awake in his crib looking around really perplexed with what was happening. I snatched him up and we stood under a door frame. Then it ended....sigh. What a surreal and humbling experience. A very good reminder of just how small we are and how very powerful God is. We spent the next 2 hours walking around outside not quite sure what to do. Long story, I know. Lets just say I didn't sleep a wink for the next couple of nights due to all the after shocks that would shake the condo and lets just say we had a very in depth conversation regarding our home earthquake plan. I am just so glad everyone was ok.

The damage. Very minor but still there.
It ended up being a 7.2 at the center of the quake which I think was about 100 miles away. After the earthquake was over. Tray kept saying, "shaking house, sorry house." Now when we ask him about the shaking house he says," shaking house, night night time, knocking, loud, I cry...sorry house." It is amazing what he stills remembers about it. What a precious little boy, I am SO grateful we were all okay.

The next couple of days after we recovered we decided to do more sight-seeing. We went to Old Town which was really fun and interesting.

We ate lots of yummy food, as always.

We visited the Mormon Battalion Site. Which was really interesting, I learned a lot!

We of course took lots of pictures.
Trayden spotted these guitars and wanted to play with one in every color. There were at least 6 of those suckers. He cracks me up.

We spent most of our time playing in the sun and sand. Tray was absolutely in love with the sand and beach.

More fun in the pool.
Out for a stroll in our Easter best!
We are right next to the Hotel Del and it is so beautiful!
Being silly.
Since my amazing hubby spoiled me for valentines/my birthday with an awesome new camera, we had to bust it out and take come photos. Here are my favorites that James took:
Tray and Mommy.
Here are my favorites that I took. I am still trying to get a hang of it so be forgiving...
Playing in the sand.
I love this. Sand up the nose and all.
Tray's Easter best.
My boys, who are my everything.
We feel so blessed to have spent such a wonderful time in California with all my favorite people. It was so fun and just what I needed. I think we should make this a annual tradition minus the earthquake.
