A little Time Out For Women!

The girls decided it was time for a little time out! That is code for Road trip to Cincinnati!
We got a hotel room, goodies, pizza, high school photos and had a blast!

We went to a Time Out For Women conference and it was awesome! Lots of inspiring talks and fun memories with my gals. It was just what I needed.
Being goofy at dinner. Yes, we are silly. I have not laughed this hard in a while... our horse faces (below) were cracking us all up!

This is my best one!

We had to make a stop at IKEA! This place is crazy big!

It was so fun! I love these girls and I know I can always count on them for some quality girl time! love you all!

Happy Mother's Day...belated!

A little tribute for Moms. I think it is safe to say that we have a very special, very different bond with our Mom. I know I do. It is something I have grown to understand even more now that I am a Mom. My Mom was ALWAYS there for me during the good and the bad. She made me feel special and valued when the world made me feel the opposite. She taught me right from wrong and what unconditional love is. She always believed in me even when I did not believe in myself. My Mom is my hero. She is such a strong, independent, loving, fun, and selfless person. I am who I am because of her. I love you Mom. I am learning just how challenging motherhood can be and what a sacrifice it is. It is 100% selfless acts all day, everyday, 24/7! I never really said thank you for that. Thank you for getting up with me in the middle of the night, for protecting me, for loving me, for teaching me and nurturing me, for all the little messy things Mothers have to deal with. Motherhood is messy but it is the best thing I have ever done. I have gained a very deep appreciation for my Mom since I have become  a Mom. I love you Mom, more than you will ever know. Thank you for being who you are.
My Mom and I.
My step-Mom and I.
My Mother-in-law and I. I am so blessed to have such wonderful Mother's in my life. I love you all.

Happy Belated Mother's Day! This year was very special because it was my first Mother's Day with Trayden. It had a whole new meaning to me. James made it very special by cooking all the meals and taking care of Tray that day so I could just kick back and relax. Thanks honey! He also got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers that were gorgeous. What a thoughtful husband! I am so blessed to have a healthy, happy little boy and to be his Mom has been the best experience of my life. I love my little family and I love being a Mom!
For dinner James made me whatever my little heart desired. Crepes!

Yummy!

Me with my lovely flowers. I love my husband! He really takes the time to listen to me and loves me no matter what. I still don't know how I got so lucky!

We got a job!!

Dr. Hillstrom looking sharp and ready to get drilling

We did it!! Well, actually James did it!! Of course I helped along the way :) We are about 2 weeks away from graduation and we finally made a decision. We finally picked a job!!

We are going some place where...

We can do this,

and use these,
witness this beauty,
and attempt to do this....
Yep, you guessed it we are going to UTAH!!
I can honestly say that was the most difficult decision I have ever made. We had a great opportunity in Virginia that we gave up but we really love Utah and all it has to offer.  But most importantly we wanted to be around this...

and this,

because to us family is what it is all about! Utah here we come!!

Trayden is 11 month young!

Guess who is growing up so fast? Tray-dawg!! I can't believe it has been 11 glorious months since our little guy graced us with his presence. He is such a fun little guy and has so much personality! He is getting very independent and has started expressing his opinions about certain things. I don't know where my little baby went :)
A walking machine! Crawling is a thing of the past. It was sad when one day I realized he doesn't crawl anymore and I thought....he is really growing up. I love to see his little waddle.
Oh yes,  he is a little curious boy! He had a blast getting into the paper towels. He also loves the TP. I felt like he deserved a little time to be a boy :)
Eating big boy style. Tray likes to eat finger food more than baby food. I think it is on it's way out. We have been working on some signs and so far he can do the "more", "milk", and "eat" signs. It is so cute, he gets all excited when he is trying to tell us something and then we get it. It's fun to start communicating back and forth. He doesn't like veggies and his favorites are prunes, and yogurt.

Tray is such a pointer now. It was like one day he woke up and decided to point to everything. He is really trying to communicate and I love his little babbles.
Tray and Daddy playing in the car. He was so excited to be in the car and out of his car seat.

Tray loves going to the park and the swings are the beast! The first time I put him in it, he was laughing so hard. What a cute smile! He continues to be such a giggly little guy!
My little heart breaker. I love this outfit that Zanna gave him.

Trayden is such a smart boy. He can point out his tongue, Mommy's nose, and ear, the lights, and find Mommy and Trayden in pictures. When I say" where is Trayden?" in front of the mirror he points to himself. These might seem like such little things but I get so excited to see him learning new things. He can do patty-cake and it is so cute how he tries to "roll it"

If I ask him to find his football, books, turtle, whale, and other toys he will go in the other room and pick them up. His favorite thing is his Mickey Mouse. I say "where is Mickey?" and he will bring him to me it melts my heart.  He learned all by himself to try to put on his shoes, and he tries to hold his play phone to his ear. He says "da da" all day long and will sometimes mumble "ma ma" if I am lucky. What is up with that? All in all, he is my little angel baby and so much fun! I love you T-dawg!
