Some fun things I really like to do...

I am getting quite grown up now and I like to think of myself as a BIG boy these days. I am very expressive if I don't agree and I like to be very independent. After all, like I said I am a BIG boy and that is what BIG boys do. For example, I love helping my Mom around the house. I am the man of the house when Dad is away and I think it is my job to help Mommy the best I can. I love vacuuming all by myself. Mom tries to help but I don't want her to overexert herself so I insist on doing it on my own. I love getting into all the drawers in the kitchen... to organize them of course. Sometimes it looks like a mess but there is a method to my madness and I don't see what the big deal is- Mom is always there to clean it up. I even like to help Mom get things out of the fridge. I am very fascinated with the refrigerator lately and so sometimes I wait near by until Mom opens it so I can sneak in to help her remove as much as I can as quickly as I can. It is only a matter of seconds before that fridge will close and I will have to anxiously wait for its next opening. I also enjoy cooking. I love taking out all the spoons and measuring cups and then getting bowls out of the drawers. Sometimes I will ask Mom for a "nack" (snack) so I can put it in the bowl and stir it around. Stirring is a blast! I love it and try to do it almost every day. Mom enjoys the extra help around the kitchen b/c she is not the best cook but I still love her. Maybe if she watches me closely she can be as good as me someday. I also love to sweep. I love it! The broom is about 4 times my size but I don't let that slow me down. I push it all around the kitchen like it's nobodies business. I think my Mom is sure lucky to have such a good helper around.I also love hiding. I am the BEST hider ever! No matter how many times they call out for me they can never find me. Eventually, when I can sense the panic in their voices I holler "Boo" and jump out at them. I love watching their faces- so surprised and so relieved. I also like to do this through out my day. It keeps my Mom on her toes and I think it is funny to see them search all over for me. I have some really good hiding spots but I can't give them up.
I really enjoy getting dressed up for Church. I LOVE wearing ties. I get to be just like my Dad who I really love. I want to be just like him and so sometimes I try really hard to do things that he does. Dad doesn't seem to like wearing them everyday but if I had it my way I would wear one every single day. What is not to like? You can pull on them and wipe things on them. Its like a really stylish bib. Sometimes I like to wear one around my neck and one around my waist.

I love going to church and whenever I am driving in the car and I try really hard to find one. Since we live in Utah they are usually all over so I enjoy yelling "church" quite frequently. I love searching for things in the car, it is like a game. If you know me, you know I have never been a big fan of the car. But now that I can actually see out the window and find things it has become reasonably tolerable. I love finding cars, trucks, churches, trains, airplanes, letters, and dogs! But don't tell my Mom and Dad that I tolerate the car or they will get a crazy idea like taking me on a road trip. BORING!!
I already told you how cool my Dad is. That is why it is so fun to be like him. I am really into tools all of a sudden. I have my very own tool belt and it rocks. Dad doesn't have a tool belt yet but sometimes I will lend him my tools if he needs them. Lately Dad has been fixing stuff in our house so I like to be right there helping him too. I like to bring over my tool bench and work on my projects while he works on his. We make a great team! He has some pretty cool tools but mine are much more colorful and make cooler noises. I love my Dad so much and I think it makes Mommy happy to see that we are such handy men.

Whenever I notice Dad fixing things I like to get right up in there too so I can see what needs to be fixed. I like to do whatever my Dad does. If he is using his screwdriver I will get mine and try to do the same thing. He laughs and I can tell he really appreciates the help.
I love my cousin, Brykin. He is ultra cool. He has the raddest hair-do and is always dressed like a rock-star. I should probably get him to sign one on my toys while I can. I love it when he comes to play. We laugh and get into mischief. We like to chase each other all over and are working on sharing toys. Believe me, It is much easier said than done.

We have so much fun! He is 9 months older than me so he can teach me a lot of cool tricks. I wish he could come play everyday. Mom can you please work on that?
I love eating in my big boy chair at the counter. Don't I look old? I have a plate these days, just my size and I am pro at using the "poon" and "fork". I like eating but only for about 2 minutes. My number one priority is playing so anything that gets in my way is usually done as fast as possible. That means eating, getting dressed, and especially getting my diaper changed. I just think they are a waste of time.
The other day we went to RC Willey. Some huge toy room will all sorts of fun things to climb on and play with. Mom and Dad seemed to enjoy it too. I had a blast stacking these blocks and then tipping them over.

Dad and I were begging Mom to bring these home. They were the biggest chairs I had ever seen. Don't get me started on these huge TVs they had. Mom usually doesn't like to let me watch TV but I think she made an exception that night. I think even she was impressed with the TVs.
See all the great climbing toys they had.
And they were just the right size. I hope we get to go back soon so I can explore some more.
I love my Uncle "Mike" he is so silly. He throws me in the air and makes me laugh a lot. I love sitting on his lap and just chilling. The other day he brought me the coolest gift ever!! I get to babysit his fish for a while.
We have had them for about 4 weeks now and I am still so fascinated. They are so cool. I love staring at them and watching them swim around. I even get to turn on the light in their aquarium each morning and say "moring fishies" I love when they get fed, and am especially interested then. Every night before bed I give them a kiss, turn off the light and say "nigh nigh fishies" We also have a pet bird that lives on our porch so every night I look out the window and say good night to him too. Then I get to turn off the porch light for him so he can go to sleep. I take care a lot of animals but I love them. I have always loved animals and I am still hoping someday I get a puppy. I might have to give a couple more kisses before that happens. I am so happy Mikey is trusting me to watch his fish. I promise I am taking good care of them and I sure love them.
One night my 2nd cousin came over and I loved showing off all my toys. We ran around the house and laughed a lot. She is very cute so it's too bad we are related.
We gave hugs and I even got a kiss from her. Mom and Dad were Ewwing and Awwing. It was kinda funny. I don't get what the big deal is we are family. I give them kisses all the time. I hope she comes again :)

Oh, man I LOVE LOVE water. I love that I can turn it on and off. It is just so much fun! Sometimes Mommy will let me get on the counter- she always stays really close to me I don't know why, she lets me play in the water and even brush my own teeth.
At first I thought brushing my teeth was super fun but now it gets kind of old. I mean I have to do it twice a day and it kind of takes away from my play time. I am usually pretty compliant but sometimes i will just bite it for fun and watch Mom or Dad struggle to get it loose. They can be so cute. Daddy tells me ALL the time how important it is so I really try not the bite the toothbrush.
I love playing in the mirror too. It is funny when I scrunch my face, it makes me laugh to make different faces. Sometimes Mommy does it too and she has some good ones.
Did I mention how much I love my Acura hat. I don't like any other hat. In fact if you try to put one on me...good luck. I will only wear my blue Acura hat so I can support Papo :) I am also hoping all this free advertising will some day earn me a Acura of my own.
I am a very big boy, so I like to help Mom pick out my clothes. The outfits she picks are so boring I like to spice things up! I usually pick a tie or 2 along with a belt or 2 and I love putting my shoes on all by myself.
Mom loves this hat for some reason and tries to get me to wear it alot lately. She was saying something about the cold weather. She got lucky and caught these shots on film. But don't worry Papo... I am still loyal to my favorite Acura hat. As you can see, I have a lot of fun these days. My days are full of laughter and mischeif but I try to listen to Mommy and be obediant too. My mom and Dad say I have a HUGE personality and don't mind being the center of attention and I think they are right. I just like to be happy, play and laugh ALL the time and I love making other people laugh too.

Tray's first Photo shoot.

So as I was downloading my photos I stumbled upon these beauties and I couldn't help but chuckle.
If you know me, you know that I am always the one whipping out the camera for a Kodak moment. It looks as though Tray is taking after his mother. He will say "cama" and hold it up to his eye mimicking me but I had no idea he could figure it out. I am guessing this was a lucky day for him and he just happened to push the right buttons. SO cute. I love this kid.
Here is the photographer himself.

Sometimes I look at him in awe and I don't understand how I was chosen to be the mother to such a fun, uplifting, happy, adorable and amazing little boy! He makes me so happy!

The Rose Bowl party of the Century!!!

This year we decided to have a Rose Bowl extravaganza and support the Buckeyes! Friends, food, and football...does it get any better than that?

We even had our Dental School buddies here to share in the festivities! What loyal buckeyes! I love these girls.
The clan watching the game.
Tray's VIP seat while eating dinner.
Tray sporting some Buckeyes.
The kids had a blast. It was chaotic but that's the way I like it. Tons of kids running around, Tray was in heaven. Cute Russell and Tray taking on the stairs. All these boys are so close in age so it has been so fun watching them grow up together.
Tray and Carson exploring.
Ahhh, a cute little man hug. More like a head bonk but still really cute.
All of the kids playing.
Grandma and adorable Aniston.
We were even lucky enough to have James's family over and my Bro representing my side. This is James's awesome Brother Ryan. We missed you Dave! It was so fun to host it at our new house and it forced me to clean it which is always a good thing.
All the boys.
O-H-I-O!!!!
Our good friends forever!
James's sweet parents.
Oh yes, I should mention that Ohio was victorious!! Yahoo! Go Bucks! So of course James and I had some bubbly (cider) to celebrate! What a fun party. Hopefully the Bucks get into a bowl game every year so we can make this a tradition!
