Happy Easter!

Easter was especially memorable this year because of Tray's sweet spirit and the joy he brings into our lives. I am so blessed. I love my family and all the happiness they give me.
James and I put little Tray to bed and it was time to dye eggs. We had a blast! James was really creative and totally impressed me with his egg dying skills. I love a man that can dye eggs! Our masterpieces! SO much fun!

This one was probably my favorite and of course it was created by James. I can kind of see a resemblance :) Easter Eve was so much fun for me. I was so excited to see Tray's smile in the morning when he saw all his new toys! The Easter Bunny called for some advice and so I was thrilled to help. He really did a great job! I could not sleep that night I was so excited! Kids make holidays so much fun!Tray with his big basket of goodies! He was really excited and it was fun to see his cute little curious face. Playing with his new toys!Tray loves his new table. He loves pressing all the buttons and could not get enough of it.Tray is really into books all of a sudden. It is so cute, he loves to turn the pages all by himself.Easter Sunday! I had to get him a cute little Easter outfit. My Mammy always did that for us growing up and I looked forward to a new fancy dress every year. I thought it would be fun to continue the tradition.
Getting ready to go to church.Of course he had to get some more playing in before we left.
Yep, the Easter Bunny really outdid himself this year. Tray got another special surprise all the way from Utah. He was on cloud nine! More fun things to play with.He loved the eggs. He had fun opening them and seeing what was inside. Thanks Nana and Papo. That evening we decided to have a little Easter egg hunt complete with Carrot cake and playing with toys! Tray had a blast with Noah, Carson, and Elliot!Tray and Carson having fun!The Easter Egg hunt. It was really cute to see all the boys scrambling to get eggs. Tray was not quite sure what to think. He found a couple of eggs and had fun watching the older boys. I think he was just excited to get down in the grass and explore.

The Dads had a lot of fun cheering of the boys and helping them get eggs. We decided to hide some extra challenging eggs for the Dads. They were pretty good! It was such a fun day!

I know Easter is more than eggs and goodies, so much more. I am so thankful to my Savior for his life and his example. I am grateful for the Atonement and the Resurrection. I am so grateful to know that because he overcame the grave we can all rise again to live with each other after death. Happy Easter!

It's official- he is walking!

Check this little man out! About 5 days ago he took off and is a walking machine. It is so adorable. My little baby is growing up too fast. I can't believe at 10 1/2 months he is walking. Wowza, he keeps me busy! I am proud of him and I love seeing the sense of excitement and joy in his eyes!

Spring Break - part 2

Here we are Spring Break Part 2!It's a little belated but I know you have all been going crazy waiting for this post, so eat your heart out.Tray with his best buddy Carson. They love to have staring contests :)It was a lot of fun we were able to take turns babysitting the kids. The boys loved hanging out all day together. Here it is The Magic Kingdom, where dreams come true!Splash Mountain! James was brave enough to whip out the camera right before we plunged to the bottom. This was one of our favorite rides. Lots of fun rides and it was so nice to have a whole day to enjoy my hubby :) Thanks to Eddie and Michelle for watching Tray. The firework show was awesome!

My cute hubby.

James and I went around exploring all the amazing hotels in Disney. Check out this yummy dessert we had at one of the hotels...it was HUGE! One of the best things about being on vacation is eating out and getting dessert every night.

Checking out the Wilderness Lodge. This was our favorite hotel that we saw. Maybe someday when we can afford it we will go stay there :)
Another awesome thing was that we had our very own pool in the backyard. That meant lots of swimming! Tray enjoyed his first pool experience and loved splashing around. He loves the bath tub so I was pretty sure it would be a hit.

Florida was so much fun! I am ready to go back. I think we need to make this a yearly tradition.

Tray surfing!

Well not quite surfing but he definitely looks good rockin' the surfing gear. Tray playing in the ocean and having fun!

Amazing sandcastle built by infants!

Made you look :)

Tray and his buddies at the beach.

Spring Break in Florida- part 1

We had such a blast in Florida for an entire week with some of our favorite friends, the Hutchisons and the Defays. Our first adventure was at Daytona Beach. Yep, that means we got to drive past the huge speedway. It was so enormously large!Tray's first encounter with sand. He was like, "what is this stuff and how does it taste?" After a quick change he was ready to rock n' roll. At first he was not sure what to think but eventually he loved playing with the sand toys and his buddies.
Tray and Noah building a sandcastle. Tray got a kick out of Noah the whole trip and followed him around everywhere. He thought he was so funny and would immediately start talking when he was in sight. It was pretty cute. I think Tray thought he was so cool because he could walk so fast.Carson and Tray playing on the beach. Tray also loves Carson. He had a lot of fun sharing toys and hanging out all day together. I know when these 2 get older they will be trouble. We are in for it Michelle. I can just imagine all the messes they will make together. Then it was time to explore. It was so fun to watch his little face light up and see him experience the ocean for the first time (besides Cali- I don't think he remembered it) He was in awe with the whole thing. He loved watching the water rush up onto his feet.Tray and Daddy. Tray kept wanting to go further and further out toward the ocean. We might have a little surfer dude in the future! Our little beach family. The girls. Me and Tray, Michelle and Carson, Ariel and Noah. I love these girls! The boys! James and Eddie. I think Dave was off dancing in front of the Lexus for Ariel ;)The next day we were off to pick some oranges. Let me tell you, they were downright delicious! I have never experienced such splendor in an orange, yummy!Tray and Dad inspecting oranges. James would tease Tray and put him near the oranges, it was stinkin' cute! The leaves would tickle him and he thought it was so funny and was giggling like crazy. The boys got to ride in their very own wagon. Tray had so much fun being with the other boys. He was so entertained and loved having constant buddies to chill with. This is Trayden's new face he likes to make. He scrunches his nose, it's pretty funny. I have no idea where he learned it.The girls decided to have a juggling contest. Um, lets just say it was interesting :)The boys copied our idea and had a contest of their own. We were way better!
Tray and Daddy on the slide. It was Tray's first time down a slide and he was a little confused with the whole concept. I think he will love it soon enough. Stay tuned for part 2!
