Trayden's birthday trip to San Diego!

This year we wanted to have another fun get away and what better reason then for Trayden's second birthday! So for Memorial weekend we packed up our bags and headed back to sunny San Diego again! It is one of our favorite places to visit and Tray loved it!
Of course lots of fun walking on the boardwalk.
Lots of fun in the sand!
Tray's favorite part, birthday time!! We went out to dinner at our favorite Mexican place, Miquels and Tray got spoiled with a HUGE mud pie that he fully enjoyed! You should have seen his eyes- HUGE! This little guy takes after his Mom and Dad, we love chocolate! He even got a birthday song and had a face full of mixed emotion, I was not sure if he was going to cry or laugh but he did not take his eyes of that enormous chocolate cake.
Tray had some fun gifts to open from Mommy, Daddy, and Aunt Heath, Uncle Nick, and Brykin! Thanks guys!

Lovin' the loot!
We had to make a stop at our favorite ice cream shop there called Moo Time. It is SO-O good!
We had a blast at Sea World. I had not been there in years and it was Tray and James's first experience ever!
Checking out the "fishies"

Tray got a kick out of the sea lions. They were downright hilarious!
We even got to see Shamu! It was really hot so I think Tray was a little worn out but he still seemed to enjoy it! He even got his own Shamu toy that he loves to carry around and say Shamu.
Another highlight was meeting Cookie Monster, Bert, and Ernie.

Tray was even more excited to meet Elmo.

If there is one thing that Tray loves right now it is WATER!!! It is his favorite toy! He is constantly getting bowls out and filling them up with water from our bathtub. This little discovery at Sea World was a dream come true for Tray. He had a blast getting soaked.

More fun!

Tray was in awe with this helicopter, another one of his favorite things.
Mom and Tray being silly.

Pool time! We had plenty of this.

Tray is my little fish. He loves the water.

My two handsome boys.
For memorial day we decided to visit a light house and some cemeteries and pay our respects to our brave soldiers.
We are so fortunate to have our freedom and are grateful to those who have sacrificed so much

What a view.

James was so excited to see a submarine. He took about 20 pictures, what a boy!

Fun times at the local park.

Another fun trip. We love San Diego and are hoping to make it back soon. What a fun way to celebrate Tray's big birthday!
