July Festivities 2010

I love the month of July, especially in Utah. We have not 1 but 2 patriotic holidays to celebrate!
For the fourth we started early at IHOP and then ventured to West Bountiful for their parade.
Our best buddies the Wingets.
Tray and Jace having a blast in the rocks...boys!
Tray thought the police cars were uber cool!
The Pregos. Here we are at around 25 1/2 weeks. We basically have the same due date. SO fun!!
Me, Brooke, and Laura. Such fun girls!
Tray's favorite float, and about the only float in the parade. Apparently floats are a thing of the past. Bummer.
Nothing like a Popsicle on a hot summers day.
We went to the park after for lunch and more fun! The boys kinda hugging/wrestling.
Dad and Tray playing. They wear each other out.

Tray could not get enough of these big inflatable slides. He was laughing so hard and we had to pry him off of them. Thanks to Coby for keeping an eye on him. These things were big!

Brooke and I decided to take the boys on the first one for safety. I think we were more of a safety hazard than anything. Two pregos on an unstable, small inflatable slide= trouble. We were laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. We kept falling down and getting stuck while we were carrying our boys, so they started crying and we couldn't get up. It was a sight to see. Finally 15 min later we emerged unharmed with crying children. LOL. I love being pregnant.

Fireworks. Very lame, very safe fireworks. James wanted so badly to hit up Evanston but with all my years in the burn unit I made him settle for some rad fire flowers and over the top fountains. Babe, you are a good sport and we are all safe so it was well worth it :)

For the 24th we decided to step it up a notch and hit up the B-town parade. It was crazy insane and so busy.
Tray was content just as long as he was with his buddies, Coby and Jace.

Tray LOVES his Uncle Mike. He has been so lucky to be around so many uncles lately that he started calling me Uncle Mommy. LOL. I will have to explain that to him someday.
Off to the Rec Center for more fun. Tray got to be a big boy and ride this terrifying contraption all by himself. I think I said like 4 prayers during his ride. It didn't break down and we both survived.
The swings. He loved these and so did I. Much more safe, I think.

Oh yes, Another scare. This monster slide that James convinced me to let him take Tray down. If you blow it up Tray's face looks a little concerned. I think I muttered another 5 prayers for that one. I am glad James is more brave than me or else or children would be seriously deprived. Thanks hon.
