Easter 2010- Part 1

For Easter and Conference we were lucky enough to visit San Diego! It is one of our favorite places and this time it was a blast b/c Tray was old enough to really love it! Tray is really into airplanes now so he thought it was the neatest thing to take a ride on one. Here is our plane...
Getting on the plane. Tray even got to meet the pilot. This was Trayden's sixth plane ride and this one went a WHOLE lot smoother :)
We were lucky to get an extra seat so Tray had his very own window seat. He thought he was such a big boy and loved looking out the window. He kept saying, "whoa"
Mom and Tray.

What a big boy! He was SO good on the plane. We were both a little nervous considering our past experiences. It was a sigh of relief. For the most part he was perfect, we had a little trouble keeping his seat belt on but other than that he was great! We were talking about all our past flights with Tray and couldn't help but laugh. Yikes, those were quite the adventures. Blowouts with no change of clothes, trying to nurse a baby with a protein allergy b/c I forgot formula with him screaming at the top of his lungs, Tray falling of the xray table, Angry men yelling at us...I think this was the first plane ride with Tray I didn't cry on :) LOL.
My boys on the beautiful beach in Coronado, CA
The view from our condo.
Trayden exploring the new place. He loved it! Every time we came home he would say, "new house."
Dad and Tray watching conference...kinda.
Goofing off.

The view was beautiful. We loved eating breakfast every morning overlooking the bay.
hmm, more goofing around... Imagine that.

One of our favorite things to do there is go for walks. You can get anywhere on foot. You can't beat the scenery either.
Another one of our favorite things was eating out. We of course went down with a tight food budget but the temptation was just too much. We love the food down there and lets be honest eating out is just more fun!
Tray in his favorite chair for some reason.

Playing on the beach.

Tray had a blast in the sand, he could have stayed out there all day.
Building sandcastles.

Dad and Tray having fun in the sun.

We even got to do an Easter Egg hunt at the community center. They had all sorts of fun things to do.

Tray even got to meet the Easter Bunny in person. We had been telling him that we were going on a airplane to meet the Easter Bunny so he was really excited when the time came. He kept saying "E bunny airplane"

Followed by a Easter Egg hunt/obstacle course. Tray was not even interested in the eggs but wanted to climb and play on everything. We kept having to remind him of all the eggs.

Enjoying his eggs. He indulged in a lot of sweets this trip thanks to the Easter holiday. He loved it! Who am I kidding, he was not the only one that indulged.
